Waiver & Safety Acknowledgment
Placeholder — pending attorney review. This text describes the safety commitments we will ask members to sign. It is not yet a final legal document and has no binding effect until counsel approves a signed version.
Safety acknowledgment
- Motorcycling carries inherent risk. I am responsible for my own machine, gear, skill, and decisions.
- I will ride sober. No alcohol, cannabis, or impairing substances before or during any club activity.
- I will hold a valid licence and endorsement, current registration, and current insurance before riding in any club formation.
- I will obey all traffic laws. I will not block intersections, ride recklessly, or pressure anyone to ride beyond their skill.
- I will follow the road leader's briefing, keep safe spacing, and stop when asked.
- I will follow the food-safety and handling rules of any service partner whose facility we work in.
- I will never meditate while operating, or preparing to operate, a motorcycle.
- I understand participation may be paused or ended for safety or conduct reasons at any time.
Assumption of risk (placeholder)
A final waiver will describe assumption of risk, release, and indemnity in terms permitted by Utah law. Nothing in it will ask you to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived, and it will not apply to conduct that the law does not allow to be released.
Records we keep
We store only the fact and date of your acknowledgment, plus status metadata for licence, endorsement, registration, insurance, and safety training. Any documents you upload are stored in private storage visible only to you and authorized leadership. We never collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, medical histories, bank details, or card numbers.
